I am an American, whose father was born in Sicily and came to the United States at ten years of age. My mother was born and brought up in the United States. Though he was a construction worker, from his youth dad was proficient in playing the violin, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and most other string instruments. My brothers and I were brought up in a musical atmosphere. In his younger years, playing his violin, dad would lead the Italian orchastras that played for the Italian street festivals, dances, and Italian weddings in the Little Italy section of our city. Dad's five brothers also were musicians, and I cannot recall an instance when their visits to our home - or visa versa - did not inspire an impromptu instrumental strings concert, with quintets, duets, solos, trios, and even vocals - the entire gambit!

I am an Air Force veteran with three years of active duty and 30 months of overseas service in the South Pacific; after studying for the ministry for several years, I graduated with an advanced degree in divinity and theology, I am an ordained protestant clergyman; I served as secetary/treasurer of my denominational section for several years; founded and matured a new congregation and served it as the senior pastor for ten years; raised the finances for and supervised the construction of a new church edifice and educational wing for that congregation; five years of radio work; writer with several published articles and stories; in addition to the foregoing, I gave eight hours weekly for three years teaching Bible classes to Attica Correctional Facility inmates at the request of the prison administration; during my early ministry, I traveled extensively with my two brothers, who also are ministers, as a musical trio conducting extended Gospel crusades in the United States and Canada; I was the senior pastor for two previous churches in another state prior to returning to my home state to pastor a church that needed maturing, in addition to my degrees, I hold several business diplomas earned while I was in business working to support my family while establishing a new church congregation; when that church became large enough to support a pastor, I left the secular business field to become the full-time pastor of the church.
