A native Floridian, Irene Estep resides in the Central Florida area with her husband of 30+ years. She has a large family and enjoys the chaotic holidays and other special family events when everyone gets together. Her favorite pastimes are watching spectator sports with her husband (golf and football mostly) and...of course, reading romance novels.

Irene is a member of Romance Writers of America and active in two local RWA chapters—Volusia County RWA and Central Florida RWA. She now serves and/or has previously served on the board or chaired a committee for both. She’s also a member of the Mystery/Suspense chapter of RWA, and other on-line writing groups such as ESPAN-RWA (Electronic & Small Press Authors Network), AEPRA (Association of Electronically Published Romance Authors, and EPIC (Electronically Published Internet Connection).
Irene currently has four books in publication—three romantic suspense and one Regency historical romance. She likes to include humor, suspense and sensuality in her romance novels, and reviewers have praised her work for having all those elements.
