Welcome Lori D Bingley - (Mischief)!!!
About Me : Lori is a University graduate, having
obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree -
with a major in English. She spent eight
years working as an Early Childhood
Educator, spending time with children of
all ages - including those with special
needs. She enjoys reading, walking the
malls with her mother (or strolling
through the flea market), hanging out
with friends, and most of all spending
time with her husband and children.
She has two brothers and two
sisters, and an extended family that
includes four nephews and six nieces.
After the birth of her second child, she
decided to stay home and watch children
-- until her third baby was born, and now
has taken time off to focus on family
and writing.
Her writing interests
began when she was a young girl,
beginning with short stories and poems -
to her first 'book' in grade four
entitled "The Mystery of the
Missing Horse". Why write
mysteries? They keep her interest as
well as her readers'. She loves to leave
her readers hanging at the end of a
chapter - unable to put it down until a
later time. Her method? "I create
the characters and let THEM write the
story". Her favorite genre to write
is romantic suspense, but she reads all
different types, and is willing to try
something new. Her next objective is to
try her hand at writing for children.
Keep an eye out for updates!!
"My family and friends are my influences. Having my first 'book' published in grade four, and put in two libraries, made me realize that's what I wanted to do with my life. I Have always dreamed of walking by the bookshelves in stores and seeing MY name there. And I'm on my way to accomplishing just that!"
