| A poem about passion. Thick impenetrable clouds Blocking every ray of light Sun Moon Stars Kept away Unwelcome here Sitting in the darkness I hear pounding rain From blackened skies Only illumination An occasional Bright flash of lightning Created from within This isolated atmosphere Powerful outburst Thing of nature And uncontrollable energy Heat clashing with cold Massive abrasive friction Screaming air From opposite ends With a visual result Frightening and sudden Startling fear Jarring the heart Things are seldom as they appear |
